Installation Instructions
SHELVING CONTRUCTION:
MEASURE SHELF WIDTH:
Measure length needed for
shelving (measure to inside
bracket).
CUT LUMBER:
Cut (2) 2”x 4” and (1) 2”x 12”
to measured length.
H LUMBER NOT PROVIDED
PLACE SUPPORTS:
Place support 2”x 4”s atop
2”x 12” (upside down),
measure 2-1/4” inches from
each side with a 3-3/4”
spacer block in between.
CLAMP & GLUE:
Clamp both ends, then
apply 3/16” to 1/4” bead
of construction adhesive
(PL400 or similar) to each
support 2”x 4”.
PLACE 2”X 12”:
Place 2”x 12” on top of
support 2”x 4”s.
MEASURE AND MARK:
Mark a guide line on top of
2”x 12” approximately 2-5/8”
along each long edge.
SET INTO BRACKETS:
Set two shelving sections
into each set of brackets,
front and back.
FINAL RESULT:
Secure, robust shelving or workspaces - supported by the strength of
your building structure.
SHELVING LUMBER IS NOT SUPPLIED:
For each (2) Post-Rack brackets (equaling 1 single section of shelving), you’ll need (2) cut to size 2”x 12”s, and (4) cut to size 2”x 4”s.
ATTACH TO BRACKETS:
Pre-drill and attach
shelving from bottom of
brackets.
H SCREWS NOT PROVIDED
SECURE WITH SCREWS:
Attach with deck or flat-
head wood screws at
approx. 18” intervals along
guide line.
