Push seventeen HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A and B), UPRIGHTS (E and F), and BOTTOM (H). Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM.
Step 2 å Fasten the CABINET RIGHTS (40CA) to the RIGHT END (A) and LEFT UPRIGHT (F) and CABINET LEFTS (40CB) to the LEFT END (B) and RIGHT UPRIGHT (E). Use eight GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #3.
Step 3 å å Turn the UPRIGHTS (E and F) over. Separate the EXTENSION SLIDES (BB) from the EXTENSION RAILS (AA) as shown in the upper diagram below. Be prepared, the parts are greasy. 3S å Fasten two EXTENSION RAILS (AA) to the UPRIGHTS (E and F). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S). å NOTE: For each EXTENSION RAIL, turn a SCREW into the hole shown in the enlarged diagram. Then, slide the innercartridge of the EXTENSION RAIL in to find the other hole that lines up with the hole in the UPRIGHT.
Step 4 å Tap two MOLDING CONNECTORS (17F) into the notches in the unfinished surfaces of the MOLDINGS (V, W, and X). Use your hammer to tap the MOLDING CONNECTORS (17F) into the notches in the MOLDINGS. Flat end Flat end 17F 17F X Unfinished surface W V www.sauder.
Step 5 å Carefully turn the MOLDINGS (V, W, and X) over so the finished surfaces are facing up. å Fasten the MOLDINGS (V, W, and X) to the TOP (G). Step 9 å Fasten the LEFT/RIGHT BASES (M) to the ENDS (A and B). Use four BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (12S). å Fasten the UPPER BASE MOLDING (R) to the BOTTOM (H). Tighten five HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: The locator hole in the UPPER BASE MOLDING (R) should be located closer to the LEFT END (B) when fastened to your unit.
Step 10 å Fasten four LARGE METAL BRACKETS (2G) to the BOTTOM (H). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å å NOTE: Be sure the edges of the BRACKETS are even with the edge of the BOTTOM. å å NOTE: Be sure the edges of the BRACKETS are even with the edges of the ENDS. Fasten two METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the ENDS (A and B). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Fasten the BASE MOLDING (Q) to the ENDS (A and B) and BOTTOM (H).
Step 11 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (J) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (J). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (J) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed. å Fasten the BALLAST (Z) to the BOTTOM (H). Use three BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (12S).
Step 12 å Fasten two CURVED HINGES (14H) to one of the RIGHT DOORS (L). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). å NOTE: This RIGHT DOOR with CURVED HINGES will be fastened to the center section of your unit in the next step. å Fasten four STRAIGHT HINGES (13H) to the other RIGHT DOOR (L) and LEFT DOOR (N). Use eight BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). L 14H 13H 11S BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (12 used in this step) N L 13H www.sauder.
Step 13 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the diagrams. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten the RIGHT DOOR (L) with CURVED HINGES to the RIGHT UPRIGHT (E). Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them.
Step 14 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), loosen the mounting screw several turns, then turn the adjusting screw in or out. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws.
Step 15 1 VIEW THE T-LOCK BOX VIDEO 2 The tabs should insert freely into the slots. Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. Step 16 å å Insert a SLIDE CAM (10A) into the DRAWER SIDES (D12 and D13). å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE. å Fasten a PULL (128K) to the DRAWER FRONT (T). Use two SILVER 1/4" MACHINE SCREWS (61S) and two WASHERS (10I). å Repeat this step for the other drawer. Fasten a DRAWER RIGHT (40CC) to the DRAWER RIGHT SIDE (D12) and DRAWER LEFT (40CD) to the DRAWER LEFT SIDE (D13). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #2 and #4.
Step 17 å Fasten the DRAWER BRACKET SET (55G) to the FLIP UP ENDS (C and D). Step 19 å Fasten the FLIP UP FRONT (U) to the DRAWER BRACKET SET (55G) on the FLIP UP ENDS (C and D). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å Fasten a PULL (128K) to the FLIP UP FRONT (U). Use two SILVER 1/4" MACHINE SCREWS (61S) and two WASHERS (10I). å Peel the FELT DISC from the FELT DISC CARD (1M) and stick them on the FLIP UP ENDS (C and D) where they come into contact with the FLIP-UP FRONT (U).
Step 20 å Fasten the EXTENSION SLIDES (BB) to the FLIP UP ENDS (C and D). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #2 and #4. Open end 1 2 BB 4 3 D Open end C 1 BB 2 4 3 3S GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) www.sauder.
Step 21 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHTS (E and F). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (P and S) onto the METAL PINS. å Apply the WARNING LABEL (3L) to the TOP (G). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.
Step 22 å To insert the DRAWER (U) into your unit, line up the EXTENSION SLIDES on the drawer with the EXTENSION RAILS on the unit and push the drawer into the unit until the drawer is fully inserted. The drawer will push in hard until it is all the way in, then it will slide in and out easier. å To insert the DRAWERS (T) into your unit, tip the front of the drawers down and drop the rollers on the drawers behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the fronts of the drawers up and slide them into the unit.
Step 23 å To make adjustments to the large drawer, loosen SCREW #4 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawer this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONT line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments.
