Step 4 å å Flip the ENDS (A and B) over. å Slide the END MOLDINGS (U) onto the ENDS (A and B). Line up the grooves in the MOLDINGS over the heads of the SCREWS in the ENDS. Remember: Righty tighty. Lefty loosey. Turn eight BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (32S) into the ENDS (A and B) until the shoulders of the SCREWS rest on the surfaces of the ENDS. U Center the MOLDINGS on the ENDS. Step 5 å First, fill the holes in the LEG (I) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). Then, insert two WOOD DOWELS (15F) into the holes. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å å Now, fill the hole in the END (A) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. å å å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWEL in the LEG inserts into the hole in the END. å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWEL in the LEG inserts into the hole in the SIDE SKIRT. å Last, fill the hole in the short edge of the SIDE SKIRT (O). Push a WOOD DOWEL (15F) into the hole.
Step 6 å å First, fill the hole in the LEG (K) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWEL in the SIDE SKIRT inserts into the hole in the LEG. Wipe away the excess GLUE. ! Caution Inspect the parts thoroughly before assembling. Disassembly of glued parts is extremely difficult. Fasten the LEG (K) to the END (A) and SIDE SKIRT (O). Tighten the HIDDEN CAM and use five BLACK 2-3/4" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (100S). Fill the holes 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE.
Step 7 å First, fill the holes in the LEG (J) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). Then, insert two WOOD DOWELS (15F) into the holes. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å å Now, fill the hole in the END (B) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. å å å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWEL in the LEG inserts into the hole in the END. å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWEL in the LEG inserts into the hole in the SIDE SKIRT. å Last, fill the hole in the short edge of the SIDE SKIRT (O). Push a WOOD DOWEL (15F) into the hole.
Step 8 å å First, fill the hole in the LEG (L) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWEL in the SIDE SKIRT inserts into the hole in the LEG. Wipe away the excess GLUE. ! Caution Inspect the parts thoroughly before assembling. Disassembly of glued parts is extremely difficult. Fasten the LEG (L) to the END (B) and SIDE SKIRT (O). Tighten the HIDDEN CAM and use five BLACK 2-3/4" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (100S). Fill the holes 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE.
Step 9 å Fasten the BRACES (T) to the BOTTOM (E2). Use four BROWN 1-1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (14S). å Fasten the BOTTOM (E2) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. 14S BROWN 1-1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) T T How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER with CK® e c fa -LO RS Sur WIST TENE T AS F 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part.
Step 10 å Fasten the UPRIGHT (C) to the BOTTOM (E2). Use two BLACK 1-15/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (113S). Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. Step 11 å å å Fasten two METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the BACK SKIRT (N2). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å Now, fill the hole in the LEFT REAR LEG (L) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. Then, insert the WOOD DOWEL in the BACK SKIRT into this hole. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å NOTE: Be sure the CAM SCREWS in the LEG insert into the holes in the BACK SKIRT. Tighten these two HIDDEN CAMS at this time. å Fasten the BACK SKIRT (N2) to the BOTTOM (E2).
Step 12 å Fasten four METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the BOTTOM MOLDING (P) and TOP MOLDING (S). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å Fasten the BOTTOM MOLDING (P) and TOP MOLDING (S) to the LEFT FRONT LEG (J) on the LEFT END (B). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the BOTTOM MOLDING (P) to the BOTTOM (E2). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) through the METAL BRACKETS on the BOTTOM MOLDING and into the BOTTOM.
Step 13 å First, fill the holes in the FRONT SKIRT (M) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). Then, insert the WOOD DOWELS (15F) into the holes. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å å å å å å NOTE: Be sure to use the exact holes shown. å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS in the SKIRTS and BOTTOM MOLDING insert into the holes in the LEGS. Now, fill the hole in the LEFT FRONT LEG (J) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. Fasten the FRONT SKIRT (M) to the LEFT FRONT LEG (J). Tighten the HIDDEN CAM.
Step 14 å Open the FURNITURE TIPPING RESTRAINT KIT (97) and fasten the SAFETY STRAP to the TOP (D2). Use the provided BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW. å å NOTE: Position the SAFETY STRAP exactly as shown. å Fasten the TOP MOLDING (S) to the TOP (D2). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) through the METAL BRACKETS on the MOLDING and into the TOP. 97 Fasten the TOP (D2) to the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Tighten six TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS.
Step 15 å å å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. å å Fasten the BACK (F2) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed. Unfold the BACK (F2) and lay it over your unit. Hey! It's starting to look like something! Make equal margins along the two short edges and along the two long edges of the BACK (F2). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square".
Step 16 å Fasten the DOOR MOLDINGS (R) to the DOORS (G). Use eight BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (12S). å Fasten three HINGES (14H) to each DOOR (G). Step 17 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å Fasten a DOOR (G) to the RIGHT END (A) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them. å å Fasten a KNOB (95K) to the DOOR (G). Use a GRAY 1-3/8" MACHINE SCREW (39S). å å Repeat this step for the other DOOR (G). Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram.
Step 18 å å å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOORS in or out, as needed. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. The DOORS may need some adjustments.
Step 19 å å Position your unit in its final location. We recommend using the SAFETY STRAP for added stability. å INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Insert the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR through the WASHER and the end of the SAFETY STRAP. 2. Using a Phillips screwdriver or a hand drill, press the screw slightly onto the drywall. 3. Apply pressure; turn the screw until a pilot hole is made and the nylon sheath slips through. 4. Turn the screw until it is flush against the wall and you feel a firm resistance. 5.
Step 20 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (H) onto the METAL PINS. å å å Using your hammer, gently tap a CAM COVER (13P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM. NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. This completes assembly. Clean with a damp cloth. Wipe dry.

Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'effondrer. Fixer le DESSOUS (E2) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). Serrer deux FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®.
ÉTAPE 15 ÉTAPE 18 (SUITE) Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'effondrer. Avec précaution, retourner l'élément sur ses chants avant. Déplier l'ARRIÈRE (F2) et le placer sur l'élément. Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des deux chants courts et deux chants longs de l'ARRIÈRE (F2). Si besoin est, enfoncer sur les coins opposés de l'élément pour s'assurer d'être « d'équerre ».
