2The Basics
Home Screen
The Home screen is the starting point for all applications. You can access applications, view call
notifications and battery or connection status.

Status Bar
– Displays notification and phone status icons.
– Touch and hold to display the device date.
– Slide down to display the notifications panel.

Quick Search Bar
: Allows users to enter text or
speak a word for a quick search in the device or
browse the Internet.

Main Home Screen
– Displays shortcut icons.
– Touch an icon to open the application.

Phone
Icon
: Touch to open the Phone (dialer
screen).

Applications Icon
: Touch to display a list of
applications installed in the device.
6.
Browser Icon
: Touch to open the browser.
7.
Screen Panel Indicator
: Indicates the number of
screens on the left or on the right side of the
current screen.
Note:
From any application screen, touch
Home
to go back to the Home screen.
