adhesive for adhering tongue and groove flooring together.

Roberts 1406 is a solvent free adhesive and meets the strict
requirements of the South Coast Air Quality Management District and
may contribute one LEED point for “Low-Emitting Material–Adhesive
and Sealant” (IEQ Credit 4.1). This product may also contribute one
to two LEED points for MR Credit 5 if product is manufactured within

Uses: For bonding the tongue and groove of laminate and floating floors
that require a tongue and groove adhesive.
May be used over radiant heat systems.
Surface Preparation: Ensure tongue and groove are clean,
dry and free of any loose particles or contaminants.
Physical Characteristics (70°F, RH 50%):
Assembly Time: Within 5 minutes
Drying time: 24 hours
Shelf Life: One year in unopened container
Protect from freezing
Coverage: Approximately 400 lineal ft. per bottle
Application and Installation: Follow flooring
manufacturer’s guidelines for bead size
and application (top of tongue or groove
application). Apply bead to tongue or
groove according to flooring manufacturer’s
instructions. Insert tongue into groove and
tap as required to ensure full contact. Remove
excess glue immediately. Once dry this adhesive is highly water
resistant. Allow 24 hour drying time before subjecting flooring to
normal traffic.
Clean Up: Fresh adhesive – Damp cloth and water.
Dried adhesive – Difficult to remove.

when applied in accordance with Roberts’ instructions and industry

for a particular use or purpose. Any implied warranties arising
