Enable this function to reduce background noise and enhance au-

dio clarity, especially in long range communication.

1. Press button to get into channel menu.

2. Press button repeatedly or press Up/Down key on extended

microphone till LCD shows “COMPANDER”.

3. Rotate power knob to switch ON or OFF.

4. ON: voice compander is enabled; OFF: compander is disabled

 Default: OFF
