• TheUV index shows the strength of ultra violet (UV) rays of the sun. It helps to
eectively protect against UV light. Excessive exposure to  sunlight can cause
sunburn, eye damage, aging of skin and skin cancer.  It is recommended TO
correspondinglyprotectyourself(forinstance,whilewearingsuncreamandahat),
when the UV index is 3 or higher.
