8. Placement of the domestic water supply
For example, the domestic water supply can be installed and operated near a well on your property or a rainwater
cistern.
Place the domestic water supply on a at, level, stable, sufciently large surface suitable for the weight of the
domestic water supply with water inside. Protect sensitive surfaces against scratches, pressure marks and possibly
water leakage using a suitable pad.
Make sure that the pump of the domestic water supply is higher than the surface of the water source (e.g. well or
rainwater cistern) from which it will be extracted, if possible.
Wear rm shoes and suitable work clothing during installation/commissioning. The product may have sharp
edges. Therefore, wear suitable work gloves. It is also recommended to wear safety goggles.
The domestic water supply must always be operated standing on the underside, but never in other
operating conditions.
Due to the elevated centre of gravity, we recommend screwing the domestic water supply over the four
openings in the stand (4). Use appropriate screws and wall plugs, depending on the surface. If the domestic
water supply is not mounted, there is a risk of tipping over. This does not only involves the risk of damage
to the domestic water supply and the leakage of water, but also the risk of injury.
You can use suitable vibration dampers for mounting to reduce or avoid the vibration.
The domestic water supply must be installed, mounted and operated in a well-ventilated place, which is
protected against the effects of the weather.
Never place the domestic water supply in or under the water, there is a risk of death due to an electric
shock! Never place the domestic water supply in a ood-prone area. The domestic water supply must be
mounted and operated so that it cannot fall into the water.
In outdoor temperatures equal to or below 0 °C, the water freezes in the domestic water supply, leading to its
destruction and the loss of warranty/guarantee!
In the presence of such low outdoor temperatures, rst disconnect the domestic water supply from the mains
voltage; then open a tap on the pressure side to drain the remaining water pressure. Then disconnect all hoses
from the domestic water supply and empty the domestic water supply and hoses. Store the domestic water supply
in a dry, clean and frost-free place.
Carry or move the domestic water supply only via the pressure vessel. The domestic water supply must never be
held or transported via the mains cable! Otherwise the power cord may get damaged, risk of an electric shock! Also,
do not hold or move the domestic water supply via the hoses, the pump or the pressure switch.
