OPERATING POLE TRIMMER Note: If the Pole Trimmer is locked ON during use and the Pole Trimmer becomes disconnected from the power supply, Disengage the lock ON feature before reconnecting to the power supply. OPERATING POLE TRIMMER USING THE POLE TRIMMER The Pole Trimmer is a dual-purpose tool. It is designed to trim and shape tall, hard-to-reach hedges and bushes with its extended reach and pivoting power head. You can also adjust the Pole Trimmer to trim and shape smaller hedges and shrubs near the ground without having to bend or stoop. To use the Pole Trimmer for trimming the bottoms and sides of hedges and shrubs, hold the Pole Trimmer at the positions shown in Figure 14.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING The Pole Trimmer is a double-insulated tool and contains some parts that can only be replaced with original parts by an Authorized Service Center. Esta característica de seguridad bloquea el gatillo en la posición OFF, evitando que la podadora de pértiga arranque accidentalmente. El botón de bloqueo del gatillo tiene 3 posiciones. OPERACIÓN DE LA PODADORA REGULACIÓN DE LA LONGITUD DE LA PÉRTIGA La podadora de pértiga de la marca de Remington tiene un conjunto telescópico con un margen de extensión de 10 pulgadas. UTILISATION DU TAILLE-HAIE RÉGLAGE DE LA LONGUEUR DE LA PERCHE Le taille-haie à perche de marque de Remington est doté d’une perche téléscopique pourvue d’une rallonge de 10 po. Un collier avec levier de serrage permet de maintenir la tige à la longueur de travail désirée. 1. Pour rallonger la perche, déverrouillez le levier à came, comme illustré dans la Figure 11. La perche peut alors glisser librement. 2. Tirez sur le tronçon interne de la perche pour le sortir à la longueur voulue. 3.

Portez toujours des lunettes, des gants de caoutchouc et de solides chaussures lorsque vous vous servez du taille-haie. Gardez les pieds solidement au sol et en équilibre, et évitez de trop vous étirer lorsque vous utilisez le taille-haie à perche. Avant de faire démarrer l’appareil, maintenez-le des deux mains en vous servant des poignées.
