SETTINGS
Tracking Only
Highlight Tracking Only and press Enter, then select Yes or No to make the Handheld a tracking-only system.
Default: No
Stim Levels
Highlight and press Enter to bring up a numeric keyboard. Use the arrows to scroll and select the number of
increments for the Stim level, 20-99
Default: 20 (lowest Stim level)
Stim Buttons
Highlight and press Enter to set the default Stim button configuration when a New Dog is added. Highlight and
press Enter on each button to edit. (See Training – Types Of Stimulation for a detailed list of Stim choices.)
Default: C, M, T
Alert Types
Highlight and press Enter, then use the up/down arrows to choose how you are notified of an alert – Vibration,
Tone, Both, None.
Default: Both
User Name
Highlight and press Enter to bring up a keyboard. Use the arrows to scroll through and Enter a name for your
Handheld. You will have to name your Handheld before sharing it with another hunter.
Default: No default
Restore Defaults
Highlight and press Enter. A warning message will appear – “Are you sure you want to restore the default
settings?” Select Restore Defaults to revert back to the original factory settings or Cancel.
Cancel
Highlight and select Cancel to return to the main Settings menu.
COMMUNICATION:
Highlight and press Enter. A dropdown menu will allow you to select and Enter:
• User ID
• GPS ID
• Restore Defaults
• Cancel
UNITS
Highlight and press Enter to select the units of measurement all your data will be displayed in. Below are the
menu options and the choices for each. Default settings are indicated.
Coordinates
• Degrees
• DEGREES, MINUTES
