iv. Install the fan module, close the case cover, and fasten the screws. Connect
the power adaptor and cables to the NAS.
v. To check that the expansion card is recognized by the NAS, power up the
NAS, log into the web interface as an administrator, and go to “System
Administration”.
b. To use Gen.3 x 16 or Gen.3 x 8 PCIe slot (TVS-1282)
i. Turn the NAS to the system side and loosen the screw to remove the bracket.
ii. Grasp the edge of the expansion card. Align the notch on the gold edge of the
