Product Guidelines
Maximum service life of 5 years (shell) & 1 year (suspension) from the time of rst use
Never alter or modify the shell or suspension system
Inspect the hard hat each time before use and replace if there is ANY sign of damage
Replace hard hat after it receives a considerable impact
Accessories such as liners have not been tested to the requirement of this standard
Clean only with mild soap and lukewarm water
Store hard hat in a clean, dry place that is out of direct sunlight
Do not use paints, chemicals, adhesives, gasoline or similar substances on the hard hat
Labels are acceptable if they do not aect a hard hat’s protective rating or make it diuclt to
nd damage

Types: Type 1 oers protection to the top of the head
Classes: Class E (electrical) rated for 20,000 volts | Class G (general) rated for 2,200 volts |
Class C (conductive) does not oer electrial protection
Reverse donning: accepted models the symbol molded into the brim
HV: meets all requirements for high visibility
LT: provides protection at low tempertures -22°F
HT: provides protection at high tempertures 140°F
Date code: indicated month and year when the shell was molded –
does not indicate service life
