Important Safeguards READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS Read this manual thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton. If applicable, pass these instructions on to the next owner of the appliance.
Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way. DO NOT force the plug into the socket. • Always attach the breakaway cord to appliance first, then plug into wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the thermostat to the 'OFF' position, then remove plug from wall outlet. • A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.
Safe usage • Location: Place the product on a straight, rigid and stable surface, away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat. • Prevent overheating: Place the product in a sufficiently aerated place, allowing at least 5 inches clearance at the back and top of the product, and 5 inches on both sides, to prevent overheating. Do not place the product on top of another appliance that may cause overheating (for example, a receiver or amplifier).
Care and cleaning WARNING: Always unplug the Electric Wok from the electrical outlet and allow the parts to cool completely before storing the unit or disassembling it for cleaning. Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. CAUTION: DO NOT use abrasive cleaners of any kind on any part of your Electric Wok. Abrasive cleaners or cleaning tools can damage non-stick surfaces and plastic parts. • Clean the product after each use. • Remove the temperature control thermostat.

Using Your Electric Wok 1. Set your wok on a flat, dry, heat resistant surface. 2. Set the temperature control dial to 'OFF' and plug the temperature control thermostat into the base on your wok. 3. Plug the cord into a 120V power outlet. 4. Set the temperature control dial to the desired temperature setting by aligning the temperature on the temperature control dial with the thermostat light.

Pork With Broccoli • 3 tablespoons of oil • Salt and pepper to taste • 1 pound of pork fillet, sliced • 3 carrots, chopped • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed • 2 medium broccoli florets, separated • 4 tablespoons soy sauce • ¼ pound mushrooms • ¼ cup chicken broth Heat oil in wok at 425°F. Add pork and season with salt and pepper. Stir fry for 1 minute. Remove from wok. Add carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms and stir fry for 1 minute. Reduce heat to 400°F. Add garlic and ginger to vegetables.
