Leaser beam warning
Laser beam characteristics
Warning! The laser beam potentially causes severe eye damage. Never look or stare
directly into the leaser beam.
During use, do not point the laser beam at people, directly or indirectly through reflecting
surfaces.
This laser complies with class 2 according to EN 60825-1/A11, 1996. The unit includes no
servicing components. Do not open the housing for any reason. If the unit is damaged,
have the damage repaired by an authorized repair agent.
8 ADJUSTMENTS.
8.1 Replacing the saw blade (fig. B)
Only use sharp and undamaged saw blades. Cracked or bent saw blades must be replaced
immediately.
Hold the flange (18) using the spanner .
Use the spanner to loosen the fixing screw (17) and remove it.
Remove the flange (18).
Hold the saw blade guard (15) in the position shown in the illustration.
Remove the old saw blade and place the new saw blade (16) with the teeth pointing in the
direction of rotation. See the arrow on the housing.
Move the saw blade guard back into its normal position.
Place the flange on the saw blade and secure the fixing screw.
Before replacing the saw blade always unplug the tool.
Never use saw blades with a thickness exceeding the thickness of the riving knife or saw
blades with a tooth setting smaller than the thickness of the riving knife.
Do not use saw blades made of HSS steel. Make sure that the spindle diameter
corresponds to the bore diameter.
8.2 Adjusting the depth of cut (fig. A)
The depth of cut is infinitely adjustable. A clean cut is achieved with the saw blade protruding
from the material by approx. 3 mm.
Loosen the adjusting screw (5).
Set the required depth of cut according to the scale (4).
Tighten the adjusting screw.
8.3 Setting the mitre angle (fig. A)
The mitre angle is infinitely variable between 0° and 45°.
Loosen the set screws (8).
Set the required mitre angle using the scale (7).
Tighten the set screws.
