Planar Simplicity Series 2.3.2. Inserting the batteries in the remote control The remote control is powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries. To install or replace batteries: 1. Press and then slide the cover to open it. 2. Align the batteries according to the (+) and (–) indications inside the battery compartment. 3. Replace the cover. Caution: The incorrect use of batteries can result in leaks or bursting.
Planar Simplicity Series 2.5. LAN Control The Planar Simplicity Series supports extending access to the RS232 commands over a network connection. Below are the steps to follow for controlling the display over LAN through the RJ45 connector: 1. Connect display & PC to hub or connect display to PC with LAN cable directly. 2. SET display IP address Step 1: In Network Settings menu, select ”Network configuration”->”Static IP” Step 2: Then go to “Static IP configuration” and enter the pertinent information.

Planar Simplicity Series 8. Cleaning and Troubleshooting 8.1. Cleaning Caution When Using the Display • Do not bring your hands, face or objects close to the ventilation holes of the display. The top of the display is usually very hot due to the high temperature of exhaust air being released through the ventilation holes. Burns or personal injuries may occur if any body parts are brought too close.
