2 Before use
Use the straightener only when your hair is dry.
It is recommended to use heat protection products when
straightening.
Select Preset Modes for quick access to your desired
setting or Manual Settings for precise temperature. Please
refer to the below table. Always select a lower setting
when you use the straightener for the rst time.

the Preset Modes, you will see the

light up. When using the manual settings, you may select
SenseIQ by pressing the
( d ). We recommend that you
use SenseIQ when using 170°C or above since more care
should be used with higher temperatures.
3 Straighten your hair ( Fig.B )
1 Press and hold the On/O button ( g ) until the display
screen lights up.
» Preset Mode “Normal” setting (
b ) will be displayed.
2 Toggle through the Preset Mode ( e ) to select desired
setting. Alternatively, press the
or button ( f ) to
select desired temperature setting.
» The indicator will stop blinking when the heating plates
are ready for use.
» The
function is activated when the light
(
a ) is on.
» The ion function (
i ) is activated when the appliance is
switched on, providing additional shine and reduces frizz.
You may smell a special odor and hear a sizzling noise. It
is common because they are caused by the ion generator.
3 Comb your hair and take a section that is not wider than
4.5cm for straightening.
Note: For thicker hair, it is suggested to create more
sections.
4 Place the hair between the straightening plates ( j ) and
press the handles rmly together.
5 Slide the straightener down the length of the hair slowly
in a single motion (max. 5 seconds) from root to end,
without stopping to prevent overheating.
6 To straighten the rest of your hair, repeat steps 3 to 5.
Note: Do not put hair into the ionic slots.
4 Creating waves ( Fig.C )
1 Start near the hair roots and take a 2-3cm hair strand.
Place the strand of hair between the heating plates (
j ).
2 To create outward waves, turn the straightener outwards
so that the hair ips over the straightener.
3 Pull the hair tips over the straightener so that it is pointing
towards the ground.
4 Hold the cool tip ( k ) for support.
5 Gently and slowly slide the straightener downwards until
you reach the hair ends.
6 Use your ngers to give the hair a bit of a twist after
releasing.
7 To create inward waves, turn the straightener inwards at
step 2 and repeat the above steps.
Tips:
Take smaller strands of hair for better results.
Ionic slot should face downwards when rst clamping
hair strand.
Use hand to ip hair tips over straightener after turning.
Hold the cool tip for better control in turning and pulling
through.
Gently relax the grip on the handle as you pull your hair
through.
After use:
1 Switch o the appliance and unplug it.
2 Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.
3 Clean the appliance and heating plates with a damp
cloth. Clean the ionic slot with a cotton swab, but do not
touch the ionic pins.
4 ( Fig.D ) Keep it in a safe and dry place, free of dust. You
can also hang it with the handing loop (
h ) or store it
with the supplied pouch (
m ) or lock the plates with the
supplied cap (
l ).
Note
Do not insert the appliance into the pouch or cap while
it is still hot.
The appliance is equipped with an auto-shut o
function. After 60 minutes, the appliance switches o
automatically.
