Getting Started Battery charging Power failure Charge for at least 8 hours. The unit cannot be used to make or receive calls during a power failure. We recommend connecting a cordedtype telephone that does not use an AC adaptor to your telephone line. When the handset needs charging, the display shows “Low battery” and there is a warning beep every 2 minutes during a call, recharge the handset before using it again. When charging, will scroll on the display.

Making/Answering Calls 1 Making calls 1 Lift the handset and then dial the phone number. To correct a digit, press MUTE/BACK . 2 Press TALK/SP-PHONE to make a call. To make the call using the speakerphone, press TALK/SP-PHONE . 9 Press and hold . “P” (Pause) will be displayed. 2 Dial the phone number TALK/SP-PHONE . Note: A 3.5 second pause is inserted each time you press and hold (Pause) on the handset.
Making/Answering Calls Flash FLASH allows you to use the special features of your host PBX such as transferring an extension call, or accessing optional telephone services. Phonebook Press and hold MUTE/BACK for 1 second to delete all characters or digits. Phonebook The phonebook can store up to 50 names and numbers. Names can be up to 16 characters long and numbers up to 24 digits. or to move between characters/digits. Storing a name and number Viewing or dialing an entry When subscribed to Caller ID, to display the name of the caller instead of the number, save the full telephone number including the area code to the phonebook.

Caller ID service Using Caller ID service IMPORTANT This unit is Caller ID compatible. To use Caller ID features, you must subscribe to a Caller ID service. Contact your phone service provider for details. Caller ID features When an outside call is being received, the caller’s phone number is displayed. Caller information for the last 20 callers is logged in the caller list from the most recent call to the oldest.

Programming Setting a number to be blocked Call block This feature allows the unit to block that you do not want to answer such | # the unit does not ring while the caller " phone number matches an entry in the block list, the unit emits no sound to the caller and "Blocked caller" is displayed for about 7 seconds, then disconnects the call. You can store up to 20 phone numbers in the block list.
Programming Flash time Auto clock Flash allows you to use the special features of your host PBX such as transferring an extension call, or accessing optional telephone services. If you have subscribed to Caller ID Service, the date and time will be set on all your handsets whenever a call is received. This feature can be set to On or Off. 1 MENU/OK , “Advanced setting”, press MENU/OK . It is unlikely that you need to change this setting unless advised to do so.

Useful information Voicemail Troubleshooting Voicemail is an automatic answering service offered by your phone service provider. This service can also record calls when you are unavailable to answer the phone or when your line is busy. Messages are recorded on the phone company system. When you have new messages is displayed if message indication service is available. Please contact your phone service provider for details of this service.
Useful information Clean the charge contacts with a dry cloth. Handset does not ring The handset ringer volume may be set to Off, see page 28. Check that the mains power is connected properly. The battery is full. When the handset is fully charged, will appear steadily on the display. Noise interference on my phone or on other electrical equipment nearby I cannot enter the time when setting the date and time You need to use 12-hour clock format, but invalid time may be displayed.
Useful information Note: If registration is not successful the # again in case the base registration period ran out of time.
