Logging preferences
PlanetPressConnectlogstheactivitiesitundertakeswhilstrunning.NewConnectlogsarecreated
dailyandareheldforaperiodbeforetheyareautomaticallydeleted.
Thesettingsonthispagedeterminethelevelofloggingandhowlongthelogfilesshouldberetained.
TheselogfilescanbeanessentialresourcewhendiagnosingissueswithOLSupport.Theloggingset-
tingsareglobaltoallConnectapplicationsandtheLoggingPreferencescanbeadjustedfromwithin
anyoftheDesignerandServerConfigurationPreferencedialogs.

Levelsbelowit.ThedefaultloggingInfoLevelcontainsallErrorandWarningentriesplusinform-
ationallogentries.
Caution: HigherloggingsettingswillhaveanimpactuponConnectproductionspeeds,aswell
asleadingtosubstantiallylargerlogfiles.
WerecommendedleavingtheloggingleveltoInfoandonlyusingthehigherlevelsofloggingin
conjunctionwithadvicefromOLsupport.
