Installation Instructions
Please read before installing
For the Wide Mount No Pest Vent:
INCLUDED: Faceplate with dual doors
NOT INCLUDED: Mounting hardware, 12” metal tube, and silicone.
We suggest using 1 ½ to 2 inch length stainless steel screws.
The Wide Mount is intended for replacing old or damaged vent hoods, as well as on new construction.
Skip steps 1 and 2 if purchased WITHOUT the optional duct tube (only available on nopestvent.com)
1. Assemble duct tube (if applicable) and attach to faceplate with the seam oriented up. Be sure all pre-
stamped snaps are secure.
2. Insert tube through the hole in the building.
3. Confirm the faceplate is level.
4. Fasten faceplate to building with screws using either the concealed or exposed mounting pattern. Pre-
molded screw holes are noticeable by the dimples in the plastic.
5. Optional: Seal the top and sides of the faceplate with silicone if needed. DO NOT seal the bottom as
this will not allow the moisture out that collects over time.

IMPORTANT: The faceplate must be installed level, or slightly inward at the top, so that the doors close
completely when not in use. An uneven installation will create a poor seal for doors. Do not overtighten
screws of this will deform the faceplate and the doors with not be flush when closed.
