SAFETY INFORMATION & WARNINGS When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions must be followed in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and/or injury to persons or property. Be sure to read all instructions before using this appliance and observe the following safety tips: • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch the hot surface. If provided, always use handles when moving this heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked. • Use this heater only as describe in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons. • This heater draws 23.4 Amps during operation. Be sure to use a dedicated 250VAC, 30A circuit for the heater. • Caution: it is normal for the plug and cord to feel warm to the touch.

This heater must be installed on the floor only. Prior to operating the heater, ensure the electrical receptacle is of the configuration and capacity appropriate for the heater. This heater uses 240 volts. The cord has a plug as shown below. No adapter is available for this blade configuration, and none should be used.
Your heater is equipped with a thermostat. The thermostat function controls the temperature output. • Turn the unit on by turning the thermostat control knob away from the LOW position (clockwise). • For faster heat-up or to increase the heat output, turn the thermostat control knob clockwise all the way to HIGH. • To decrease the heat output, turn the knob counterclockwise. • Once the room reaches the desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat control knob counterclockwise until you hear a “click.
3. To clean housing, use a clean, soft and lightly damp cloth to gently wipe all the dirt from the surface of the unit. Be sure not to wet the heating element and the switches. Allow the unit to dry completely before using it. Caution: Do not allow water to run into the interior of the heater as this could create a fire or electric shock hazard, damaging the unit. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Unit is not heating. Possible Causes Overheat protection has temporarily deactivated the heater. Room temperature has been warmed up to thermostat setting. Heater is not plugged into a 250V grounded outlet/receptacle. Breaker/Fuse has been tripped. The heater is producing a burning smell. A drop of oil fell on the heating coil during the manufacturing process. Check and ensure there are no combustible materials within 3 feet (0.9 meters) surrounding the heater.
LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY This appliance is covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty. For one year from the original date of purchase, the manufacturer will repair or replace any parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials and workmanship, provided the appliance has been used under normal operating conditions as intended by the manufacturer.
