NewAge recommends using a professional kitchen installer to prepare and install NOTE: If you are unfamiliar or unsure of how to handle utility connections, have a qualified professional perform these duties. Before you begin • • • • Shut off all existing water, power and utility lines. Remove existing appliances (stove, oven, refrigeration, sink, and dishwasher).
Room Preparation Preparing your Room • Locate the uneven areas to adjust the cabinets in order to make the installation plumb, true and square. Plumb Line Corner is out of plumb 2 3/8” 30” or 36” Mark top line for wall cabinets Refernce line for wall rails Mark bottom line for wall cabinets 54” 1.25” for Granitetop Base level line Mark first line at 34.75 inches for cabinets. 1.25” 36” Plumb Line High points on floor.
Room Preparation • Use a stud finder to locate the wall studs. The wall studs are crucial to properly support the weight of the cabinets. Locate Wall Studs • • • Using a carpenter’s level, check the walls for uneven spots. Wall unevenness can cause cabinets to be misaligned resulting in racking or misalignment of the doors and drawer fronts. At the point where these uneven spots interfere, high spots should be removed by scraping and sanding off excess plaster or sheet rock.

Installation Overview The section gives you an overview of cabinets installation process. Refer to the corresponding sections in this install guide for step by step process. Install leveling legs to all the base Remove doors and drawers of all the cabinets. Make sure to install on the cabinets and store in a safe area where correct side for single door cabinets. they cannot get damaged during installation Note: It is recommended to install all base cabinets first.
Installation Overview Install Side panels. Install Toekicks to all base cabinets. Install Handles for all the cabinets. 17 Install Skirting and Crown moldings. Install doors and drawers of all the cabinets. Install all other accessories purchased with the cabinets.
Removal and Installation of Doors Installing the Door Hinges If you’ve purchased custom color or Espresso doors your cabinet will arrive without the doors attached. You will be required to first, pre-install the hinges onto the doors, then attach the doors after installing all cabinets according to the planned layout. Remove the protective film on the doors and drawer fronts before the installation. Fix the Hinges in position aligning with Locate the pre-drilled holes on the back the holes.
Removal and Installation of Doors Blind Corner Cabinet If you purchase your cabinets with doors, remove doors of all the cabinets before installation. Install doors after installing all cabinets according to the planned layout. 1 Open the cabinet door and identify the door hinges. 2 Press the release clip on the front and pull the hinge clips outwards to release the door from cabinet. 3 Remove the door. 4 Install the door and press the hinge onto the hinge plate.

Removal and Installation of Doors Adjusting the Door Hinges Note: After the cabinets & doors have been installed it is up to the customers to make the adjustments to the hinges to ensure that the doors and drawers are all leveled. Rotate the screws on the hinges using a screwdriver to adjust the position of the doors after installation.
Removal and Installation of Drawers It is recommended to remove all cabinet drawers before installation. 1 Slide out the drawer. 2 Remove cover on the both side of the drawer. 3 Pull the clips up from both sides of the drawer and slide the drawer off the slides. 4 Place the drawer in position over the rails and push it in to install.
Removal and Installation of Drawers 5 24 Place the drawer in position over the rails and push it in to install. Re-install cover plate on both sides of drawer.
Installation of Drawer Front Panels Top Drawer If you’ve purchased cabinets with doors/drawer front separately, you will be required to install the drawer front connector onto the drawers. Take the Top drawer front panel and fix Fix the dawer front connectors into the the drawer stabilizer(36” Drawer only) holes at both ends of the panel. Tighten into two holes at the centre on back of the the screws using a philips screwdriver. panel.Tighten the screws using a philips screwdriver.
Installation of Drawer Front Panels Middle and Bottom Drawers 1 Take the Middle drawer front panel and fix the drawer stabilizer(36in Drawer only) into the two holes at the centre on back of the panel.Tighten the screws using a philips screwdriver. 3 Fix four support bar locks into the top four holes at both corners of the panel. Tighten the screws on the locks using a philips screwdriver. 26 2 Fix the dawer front connectors into the bottom two holes at both ends of the panel.
Installation of Drawer Front Panels Middle and Bottom Drawers 5 Open the drawer and drill in two Ø4mm X15.5L screws through the holes on the drawer stabilizer from the bottom. 7 Fix the support bar to the drawer by pusing it into the slots on the back of the drawer and sliding the support pin on the front into the support bar locks. 27 6 Take a drawer support bar and slide the cover inwards.
Installation of Drawer Front Panels Middle and Bottom Drawers 8 Slide the cover on the support bar outwards. 10 Similarly install all support bars for the bottom drawer. Follow steps 1 to 9. 28 9 Install all four darwer support bars similarly.
Installation of Drawer Front Panels Adjusting the Drawer front panel Note: Adjust the drawers prior to using the kitchen. Adjust the drawer front panel downwards by rotating the screw (A) counter clockwise on both sides of the drawer. A Adjust the drawer front panel to the right by rotating the screw (B) counter clockwise. B Adjust the drawer front panel upwards by rotating the screw (A) clockwise on both sides of the drawer.
Adjusting the Wood Shelves All Wooden shelves are delivered pre-installed with the cabinets. You can adjust the shelves at different heights. 1 Each shelf is supported by four support dowel pins which goes under the support housing. Support housing can be locked to fix the position of shelves. 2 Slide the shelf lock outwards at all corners on the bottom of the shelf. 4 Support dowel pins can be removed and installed at different holes on the carcass to install shelves at different heights.
Installation of Glass Shelves on Wall Cabinets with Glass Doors All Glass shelves for the Glass door cabinets are delivered uninstalled with the cabinets. Install Glass shelves after installation of the cabinets. 1 Four shelf support brackets for each shelf is needed for the support. Pull the lock downwards and move the top portion of the support bracket. Locked 3 2 Install support brackets into the holes on the cabinet carcass.
Installation of Feet for Base Cabinets ATTENTION: Once feet are intalled removing them will cause damage to the cabinets. Install adjustable feet for all base cabinets before beginning the installation process. The adjustable legs are packaged in a hardware box inside the cabinet Flip the cabinets upside down on a protective soft surface and locate the Remove the doors of all cabinets. Refer to holes at each corner of the cabinet. page 19 - 21 for removal of doors.
Installation of Feet for Base Cabinets Insert the leg post into the leg base and psuh it in to lock the entire leg assembly into place. Removing leg post after locking will damage cabinet. 4 Push and fit the leveling leg base into one of the holes and making sure that the tab is overlapping the side panel of frame. 6 Repeat the step 2 to 4 to install all the leveling legs. Ensure all legs are in the lowest position. Carefully lift up and flip the cabinet.
Installation of Feet for Base Cabinets 7 Adjust the legs to level the cabinet. Max.
Corner Layout Installation Blind Corner Cabinet - Filler Panel Installation Note: When installing a corner layout, it is recommended to start the cabinets installation with blind corner cabinet. Install the L - filler panel provided inside the blind corner cabinet before installing it to the wall. Take the L-shaped filler piece which comes Parts required with the blind corner cabinet and identify two pilot holes provided on the cabinet.
Corner Layout Installation Installation of Blind Corner Cabinet Note: It is recommended to start installing the corner base cabinet first and install other wall cabinets on the both sides. Corner Layout Installation Installation of Base Cabinets 5 7 37 Once the adjacent cabinet has been aligned with the corner cabinet, level this cabinet front to back and left to right by adjusting the leveling legs. Referencing the pre marked location, drill pilot hole using a 5/32” in drill bit. Screw in the Corner and Adjacent Cabinets into the wall studs using the Ø6mm x70mm Lag screws provided. 6 Mark a position for pilot hole at the vertical center of back panel, aligned with the wall studs.
Corner Layout Installation Installation of Base Cabinets 8 Referencing your design layout, align the next cabinet to be installed accordingly. 9 Placing a level on the cabinet front to back, level the cabinet by rotating the feet. Repeat this step with the level left to right. The cabinet should be level along all edges and aligned with the adjacent cabinet. 2” 10 Fix both cabinets together to prevent movement using a c-clamp.
2” Corner Layout Installation Installation of Base Cabinets 13 Similarly install other cabinets according to the layout, secure cabinets each other and secure them to the wall. 2” 2” Two or more people are required to lift/move cabinets into place.
Wall Rail Installation for Wall Cabinets All wall cabinets except the above fridge cabinet needs wall hanger rails as a support to hang on the wall. Install wall hanger rails according to the layout marked on the wall. Use lag screws to secure rails to the wall. It is recommended to install a Molly bolt if any end of the the rail is between the wall studs. When installing wall hangers rails on the wall, it is important to understand the profile of the rail.
Wall Rail Installation for Wall Cabinets 3 Mark a horizontal reference line 2 3/8 “ (60mm)below the measured top line of the wall cabient. Align the center of the hanging rail on this line and mark the holes of wall rail on the wall studs. Wall Studs 2 3/8” Reference line for Wall hanger rails Top Line for Wall Cabinets (84” or 90” from the base level line measured and marked on page 9.) 4 Pre drill the markings on wall studs using a 3/32” drill bit.
Wall Rail Installation for Wall Cabinets 6 Use a level to check that each rail is level. 7 Use shims if necessary at the uneven surfaces of the wall. Level Top Line for Wall Cabinets Studs Note: 8 It is recommended to install a Molly bolt if any end of the the rail is between the wall studs. Mark the hole at the end of the rail to the wall.
Wall Rail Installation for Wall Cabinets Wall Studs 9 Pre drill the marking on wall using a 8mm drill bit. 10 Install the mollybolt into the hole using a hammer / rubber mallet. s Reference line for Wall hanger rails Top Line for Wall Cabinets (84” or 90” from the base level line measured and marked on page 9.) 11 Remove the screw from the Molly bolt. 12 Install the screw after securing rail to the wall.
Wall Cabinets Installation Note: It is recommended to start installing the corner wall cabinet first and install other wall cabinets on the both sides. 1 Remove doors of all cabinets before installation. Refer to page 19-21 for removal of doors. 3 Fully extend all the wall hanging brackets by rotating the screw “A“ counter clockwise. Use the extended philips bit for best results. 2 Locate the three wall hanging brackets on the corner wall cabinet. These will be used for hooking onto the hanging rail.
Wall Cabinets Installation 5 Add shims to the bottom of the cabinet. Using a level make sure the cabinet is plumb vertically and horizontally from the front to the back and left to right. Use an exacto knife to cut the shims after installing all the wall cabinets. 6 Wall cabinets can be adjusted vertically by adjusting the screw noted B in the image below. To fully seat the wall cabinet, ensure screw A is tightened and the cabinet is flush with the wall hanging bracket.
Wall Cabinets Installation 9 Using two people, carefully lift and hang the cabinet ensuring the wall hanging brackets are securely mounted onto the wall hanging rail. Adjust the cabinet until it is adjacent to the corner cabinet. Two or more people are required to lift/move cabinets into place. 10 Wall cabinets can be adjusted vertically by adjusting the screw noted B in the image below. To fully seat the wall cabinet, ensure screw A is tightened and the cabinet is flush with the wall hanging bracket.
Wall Cabinets Installation 12 Fix both cabinets together to prevent movement using a c-clamp. Drill in four Ø4x30mm chip board screws at all corners by leaving a gap of 2” from the edges to attach cabinets together. 2” 2” 2” 2” 2” 2” 13 Cover all the wall hanging brackets with covers provided in the hardware box.
Wall Cabinets Installation 14 Similarly install other wall cabinets according to the layout and secure cabinets with eachother. 2” 2” Note: Cabinets must be attached together and attached to the wall. It is recommended to install side panels after attaching all cabinets together. Attach cabinets to the wall after installation of wall side panels.
Wall Cabinets Installation 15 Install wall side panels near the open end of the cabinets. 16 Align the side panel to the top. Leave a space of length L on front as shown below to align the side panel with front face of the door. L 17 Doors may needed to be installed on the cabinet for the correct measurement “L”. 18 Drill in four Ø4x30mm chip board screws at all corners by leaving a gap of 2inches from the edges to attach side panels.
Wall Cabinets Installation 19 Pre-drill a pilot hole (5/32” drill bit) on the back panel of the cabinets at 3/4” from the bottom, aligned with the wall studs. Attach all cabinets to the wall with 6x70mm Lag screw using a power tool.
Installing the Above Fridge Cabinet 1 C - Clamps Place the fridge cabinet between the two extended side panels. Ø4mm X 30mm Chipboard Screws Drill Side Panels 2 1 Parts required Align the side panel to the top and leave a space of length “L” on front as shown below to make sure the side panel flushes with the door front face. Doors may needed to be installed on the cabinet for the correct measurement “L”. L L 3 Secure side panels in place using C-clamps.
Installing the Above Fridge Cabinet 5 Drill in four Ø4x30mm chip board screws at all corners by leaving a gap of 2inches from the edges to attach side panels. 6 Carefully lift the cabinet and move it next to the wall cabinets according to the layout. 2” 7 Adjust all 4 feet by rotating them to make sure the cabinet is level. Two or more people are required to lift/move cabinets into place.
Installing the Wall Cabinet Side Panels (Installed for the cabinets without under cabinet skirting) 1 1 Parts required C - Clamps Side Panels Use a standard height side panel when under cabinet skirt is not being installed. Ø4mm X 30mm Chipboard Screws Drill 2 Drill in four Ø4mm x30mm chip board screws at all corners by leaving a gap of 2” from the edges to attach side panel. 34 Remove the C-Clamp and follow steps 1 and 2 to install side panels wherever needed.
Installing the Wall Cabinet Side Panels (Installed for the cabinets with under cabinet skirting) 1 1 Parts required C - Clamps Side Panels Use side panel for skirting when under cabinet skirt is being installed below the wall cabinets. Ø4mm X 30mm Chipboard Screws Drill 2 Drill in four Ø4mm x30mm chip board screws at all corners by leaving a gap of 2” from the edges to attach side panel. 43 Remove the C-Clamp and follow steps 1 and 2 to install side panels wherever needed.
Installing the Crown Moldings 1 1 Parts required Miter Box Crown Moldings 2 Drill L Saw Ø3.5mm X 35mm Chipboard Screws Cut the crown moldings to required length with an angular cut of 45 degrees at the edges. L 3 L 4 55 Measure the length of cabinets on top to cut a required length of Crown Moldings. Drill two pilot holes at each corner and drill in the Ø3.5mm X35mm chipboard screws into the pilot holes. Install Crown Moldings on top of the cabinets.
Installing the Wall cabinet Skirting 1 1 Parts required Undermount Skirt Miter Box Saw Drill Ø3.5mm X 35mm Chipboard Screws Measure the length of cabinet skirting required under the wall cabinets. L 2 Cut the cabinet skirting to a required length using a hand saw and a miter box. L 5 56 Drill pilot holes at the corners and drill in the Ø3.5mm X35mm chipboard screws. 4 Place the cabinet skirting under the cabinet between the sidepanels.
Installing the Base Cabinet Side Panels 1 C - Clamps Side Panels 21 1 Parts required Install side panel near the open end of the cabinets.. Ø4mm X 30mm Chipboard Screws Drill Align the side panel to the top and leave a space of length “L” on front as shown below to make sure the side panel flushes with the door front face. Doors may needed to be installed on the cabinet for the correct measurement “L”.
Installing the Base Cabinet Side Panels 31 Adjust the position of side panel by rotating the feet and make sure the top surface of the panel is flush with the cabinet. 41 Drill in four Ø4x30mm chip board screws at all corners by leaving a gap of 2inches from the edges to attach side panel.
Installing the Toe kicks 1 1 Parts required Miter Box Measure the length of toekicks needed for each set of cabinets and cut the toekick using a hand saw. Saw L Toekick 2 Drill Ø3.5X16 wood screws Cut the Toekicks to required length using a hand saw and a miter box.. 3 Place toekick closer to the legs and mark the position of legs on to the toekick for installation of feet clamps. L 4 Install feet clamps on the toekicks as per the markings.
Installing the Toe kicks 5 60 Push and fit the toekicks to the feet. 6 Make sure the feet clamps are fit properly with the feet.
Installing the Filler piece 1 Parts required 1 Identify the leftover space between the cabinets and the wall. 3 Cut the side panel into three pieces. One with the measured width to cover the space and two with a width of 2”. Ø4mm X 30mm Chipboard Screws Side Panel 2 Drill Saw Measure the space between the wall and the cabinets. W W 2” 2” Wall 5 61 Take one of the 2” strips and attach it to the side panel of the cabinet using a Ø4mmX 30mm chip board screws.
Installing the Filler piece 5 62 Apply silicone to the front faces of the panel strips. 6 Attach the filler piece aligned with the cabinet.
Corner Layout Installation Install doors, drawers and handles of the cabinets after installing all the accessories. Adjust the position of doors and drawer fronts.
Installing the Linear layout Note: When installing a linear layout, it is recommended to begin the installation with the tallest cabinets, either a pantry or above fridge cabinet. For a linear layout without pantry or above fridge cabinet, begin with a wall cabinet at end. 2 64 Remove the doors of pantry cabinet. Refer to page 21 for the door removal procedure. 1 Install leveling legs of the pantry cabinet. Refer to the page 32 for installation of legs.
Installing the Linear layout 4 Install the above fridge wall cabinet next to the pantry cabinet. Refer to page 51 for installation of above fridge cabinet along with the side panels. 5 Install cabinet hanger rails on the wall as per the layout. Refer to page 40 for installing the Wall cabinet hanger rails.
Installing the Linear layout 6 Install all wall cabinets, and attach the cabinets to each other. Refer the page 44 to install, attach and level the wall cabinets on the wall. 7 Remove the doors of all the base cabinets. Refer to page 19 - 21 for the door removal procedure. 66 8 Install leveling legs for all the base cabinets. Refer to the page 32 for installation of legs.
Installing the Linear layout 9 Install all the base cabinets according to the layout and attach all the adjacent cabinets to each other. Secure all base cabinets to the wall. Refer the pages 37-39 for installing the base cabinets. 10 Install standard height wall cabinet side panels wherever needed. Refer to the page 53. 67 11 Install extended height wall cabinet side panels wherever needed. Refer to the page 54.
Installing the Linear layout 12 Install crown moldings for all the wall cabinets. Refer to the page 55. 13 Install cabinet skirtings for all the wall cabinets. Refer to the page 56. 14 Install side panels wherever needed for the base cabinets. Refer to the page 57. 15 Install toekicks for all the base cabinets. Refer to the page 59.
Installing the Island layout The Island layout can be created by combining base cabinets together (Island) to existing corner or linear layouts. For the installation of linear layout refer the pages 64 - 68. For the installation of corner layout refer the pages 35 to 63. Linear Island Creating a 26” Deep Island The 26” wide island is constructed by attaching the base cabinets next to eachother.
Installing the Island layout 1 Install three base cabinets next to each other and join them using c-clamps. 2” 2 Fix the cabinets together to prevent movement using a c-clamp. Drill in four Ø4mm x30mm chip board screws at all corners by leaving a gap of 2inches from the edges to attach cabinets together.

Installing the Island layout Creating a 40” Deep Island The 40” wide island is constructed using base cabinets and wall cabinets that are lined up back to back. 1 1 Parts and Tools required Adjustable leg for Wall Cabinets Chip board screw for Cabinets A set of wall cabinets and base cabinets are needed to create a 40” deep island.
Installing the Island layout 3 5 Flip the wall cabinet, pre drill four pilot holes at all four corners of the cabinet base. Fix all four legs to the cabinet using the screws provided. Attach Extended Island side panels and adjust the levelling legs to flush the panels with the top of the cabinet. Drill in four chipboard screws from inside at all four corners. Max.

Refer to page 20. 3 Install all the adjacent wall cabinets, make sure the cabinets are level, attach the cabinets together and secure cabinets to the wall.
