2.1 Appearance and Odor:
Off-white, semi-liquid with characteristic odor.
2.2 HMIS Hazard Class : 1,0,0
2.3 Emergency Overview:
These products contain crystalline silica as a naturally occuring contaminant.
These products do not present an inhalation, ingestion, or contact health hazard unless subjected to
machining, sanding or other working that generates dust exceeding the PEL/TLV.
It is recommended that a NIOSH approved particulate respirator be worn whenever working with this
product generating airborne particulate matter and dust exceeding the exposure limits.
Job site air monitoring should be conducted to determine actual exposure when the PEL/TLV may be exceeded.
This SDS contains valuable information critical to the safe handling and proper use of the product.
This SDS should be made available for users of the product.

Potential Health Effects:
Acute(Short term):
Inhalation: Amounts of dust in excess of the PEL/TLV may cause irritation of the upper respiratory
tract which may include coughing, sneezing and troubled breathing.
Ingestion: Not an expected route of exposure, if ingested consult a physician.
Eyes: Direct contact with particulate matter may cause irritation. If burning, itching or pain persist
consult a physician.
Skin: May cause slight irritation.
Chronic(Long term):
Repeated, prolonged exposure to crystalline silica may cause severe damage to the lungs resulting in silicosis.
The severity and risk of developing silicosis depends on the respirabe concentration, particle size of the
silica dust and the duration of exposure. The amount of respirable silica generated will vary depending on
