Selecting a Zone
A zone is a group of channels.
Use the following procedure to select a zone.
Note: Your radio must be preprogrammed to allow you to use
this feature.
Procedure:
Rotate the Mode knob until the display shows the desired zone.
OR
1 < or > to Zone.
2 Press the Menu Select button directly below Zone.
3 U or D to the required zone.
OR
Use the keypad to enter the zone number.
4 If the zone number entered is unprogrammed, the display
shows Invalid entry. Repeat Step 3.
OR
Press the Menu Select button directly below Select to
confirm the displayed zone.
Press the PTT button to transmit on the displayed zone
channel.
