RE: Oatey Solvent Cement Country of Origin Statement
Morris Products is the National Master Distributor for Oatey Solvent Cements for the
electrical industry. All of the Oatey Solvent Cements that we sell are sold under the
brand name United Elehem.
This letter is to certify that Oatey Solvent Cements are manufactured in the United
States of America. Oatey has manufacturing facilities located in Cleveland, Ohio,
Newark, California and Omaha, Nebraska producing all of our plastic pipe solvent
cements and primer products.
Each can of solvent is marked on the can bottom with manufacturing date code and
batch/shift/location identification. Dec 2010 07C is an example of a product
manufactured in our Cleveland plant on December 7, 2010. The “C” indicator may be
substituted by an “H” indicator for out plant in Omaha or an “N” for Newark.
All Oatey solvent cements qualify for Buy American under the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act.
