20-2. Suction Fan Motor M18 Control
Suction Fan Motor M18 turns at either half or full speed, selected by the
signal output from pin 49 of IC5A on Master Board PWB-A. It is controlled at
the following timings.
<M18 Half Speed Rotation Timing>
•
At the same time when Power Switch S1 is turned ON, M18 turns at half
speed.
•
The speed of M18 rotation is switched from full to half approx. 4,600
msec. after the trailing edge of the last copy has moved past Paper Exit
Sensor PC36.
<M18 Full Speed Rotation Timing>
•
The speed of M18 rotation is switched from half to full at the same time
when PC Drum Drive Motor M5 is energized (p. M-XX).
