Changing a programme (safety
lock)
A programme, temperature, spin speed
or selected options cannot be changed
once the machine has been success-
fully started. This prevents the machine
being operated unintentionally, e.g. by
children.
If the washing machine is switched off
during active programme operation,
the standby function does not switch
the washing machine off completely
after 15minutes. Safety functions
continue to be active because there
may still be water inside the drum.
Interrupting a programme
Turn the programme selector to the
position.
The washing machine switches off.
To continue: turn the programme se-
lector to the position of the wash pro-
gramme that was started.
Cancel?
OK
Yes
Touch the sensor control.
The following will appear in the display:
Cancel?
OK
No
Confirm with the OKsensor control.
Tip: IfCannot be changed appears in
the display, the programme selector is
in the incorrect position.
Cancelling a programme
You can cancel a wash programme at
any time after it has started.
Turn the programme selector to the
position.
Turn the programme selector to the
Cottons programme.
The following will appear in the display:
Cancel?
OK
Yes
Touch theOK sensor control.
The suds are pumped away. The follow-
ing will appear in the display:
Prog. cancelled
OK
Wait until the symbol in the display
goes out and the door unlocks.
Pull open the door.
Remove the laundry.
