Affix edge protection to the adja-
cent cabinet fronts.
Insert the plug connector at the back
of the appliance (see “Electrical con-
nection”).
Insert the plug into the electrical
socket.
The electrical outletshould be close
to the appliance and easily accessi-
ble.
Otherwise, it must be possible to
switch the appliance on and off us-
ing an external all-pole switch with a
sufficient contact gap.
Risk of short circuit and over-
loading!
When installing appliances side by
side, each appliance must have its
own separate outlet.
Tip: To secure the power cord to pre-
vent it becoming caught:
Tie a piece of string to the middle of the
cord and as the appliance is being
pushed into the niche, pull the cord for-
ward underneath the appliance.
Carefully push the appliance into the
niche.
If the appliance cannot be pushed
into the niche (because the floor is
uneven, for example), unscrew the
rear feet slightly (see “Aligning the ap-
pliance”) and slide the appliance into
the niche.
Remove the edge protection from
the adjacent cabinet fronts.
