Switching on, switching off, or
resetting theDisplay Active
AirClean Filter
Approximately every 6months, the Ac-
tive AirClean filter display will remind
you to change the Active AirClean filters
(see “Inserting the Active AirClean fil-
ters” in “Before first use”). Change Active
AirClean Filterwill appear in the display.
The first time the Active AirClean fil-
ters need to be changed, the display
will remind you automatically; the re-
minder does not need to be switched
on separately.
After the Active AirClean filters have
been changed, the Active AirClean filter
reminder display must be reset (see
“Resetting the Active AirClean filter dis-
play”).
If the Active AirClean filter reminder
display is not reset, it will appear again
after 7days.
If you do not require the Active Air-
Clean filter reminder display, it can be
switched off (see “Switching off
theDisplay Active AirClean Filter”).
New Active AirClean filters are avail-
able from Miele Technical Service,
your Miele dealer, or online.
Switching on theDisplay Active Air-
Clean Filter
If theDisplay Active AirClean Filter has
been switched off once, it must be
switched on again if required.
 In settings mode, use the and
arrow buttons to selectDisplay Active
AirClean Filter and selectOK to confirm
your selection.
 Use the and arrow buttons to
selectOn and touchOK to confirm
your selection.
TheDisplay Active AirClean Filter has
been switched on.
Switching off theDisplay Active Air-
Clean Filter
If you do not require theDisplay Active
AirClean Filter, you can switch it off.
 In settings mode, use the and
arrow buttons to selectDisplay Active
AirClean Filter and selectOK to confirm
your selection.
 Use the and arrow buttons to
selectOff and touchOK to confirm
your selection.
TheDisplay Active AirClean Filterhas
been switched off.
Resetting theDisplay Active AirClean
Filter
TheDisplay Active AirClean Filter must be
reset each time the filter is replaced, so
that it is displayed again after 6months.
 In settings mode, use the and
arrow buttons to selectDisplay Active
AirClean Filter and selectOK to confirm
your selection.
