IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
9
There are live wires in the water intake hose. Do not shorten the
water intake hose, even if it is too long.
The built-in WaterProof System offers reliable protection against
water damage if the following conditions are met:
– Proper installation
– Proper maintenance of the dishwasher or replacement of the
parts in case of noticeable damage
– Closing of the water valve during longer absences (for example,
vacation)
The WaterProof System will work even if the appliance is switched
off. However, the appliance must remain connected to the electricity
supply.
The water pressure (flow pressure at the connection point) must
be between 7.25 - 145 psi.
A damaged appliance could be dangerous. If the dishwasher gets
damaged, turn off the electrical supply and contact Miele.
The manufacturer's warranty will be invalidated if the appliance is
not repaired by a Miele-authorized service technician.
Defective components should be replaced by Miele original parts
only. Only with these parts can the manufacturer guarantee the
safety of the appliance.
During installation, maintenance and repair work, the appliance
must be disconnected from the electrical supply (turn it off and with-
draw the plug from the socket).
If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a
special cable of the same type (available from Miele) by a Miele-au-
thorized service technician only.
