Process input types are:
= 0 to 54 mA dc input
= 0 to 6 V dc input
= Thermocouple input
= RTD input
= –10 to 120 mV dc input
= 0 to 100% slidewire (potentiometer) wiper
position
TC TYPE TYPE * Where * = J, K, E, R, S, T, B, or N. The type
of thermocouple selected must match the type
connected to the process input terminals.
TEMP CAL This procedure is provided to compensate for
variations in individual RTDs or thermocouples.
xxx.x xx.x Where xxx.x = process temperature and xx.x
= temperature correction (+15 to –15
degrees). The correction should be adjusted to
eliminate any measurement error in the
process temperature.
Notes:
1. Use reference standard thermometer or ice
bath for reference temperature.
2. Allow controller with thermocouple to warm
up for at least 1/2 hour to ensure that the
cold junction compensator has reached a
stable temperature.
