OPERATION • Secure rear of discharge chute to lawn mower housing with knob, • Place rear handle of grass catcher on the crossbar of the lawn mower's lower handle as shown. • Lift the round door of the discharge chute and place the grass catcher into place on the discharge chute. • • NOTE: Be sure round door of discharge chute rests on grass catcher as shown, • Mower is now ready for rear bagging operation. • Toconvert to mulching operation, remove grass catcher and discharge chute.

MAINTENANCE LAWN MOWER BLADE Always observe safety rules when performing any maintenance, BLADE ADAPTER TRAILING EDGE TIRES • Keep tires free of gasoline, oil, or insect control chemicals which can harm rubber. • Avoid stumps, stones, deep ruts, sharp objects and other hazards that may cause tire damage, DRIVE WHEELS WASHER Check rear drive wheels each time before you mow to be sure they move freely. LOCK WASHER The wheels not turning freely means trash, grass cuttings, etc.
MAINTENANCE Change the oil after every 25 hours of operation or at least once a year if the lawn mower is not used for 25 hours in one year, CAUTION: Petroleum solvents, such as kerosene, are not to be used to clean cartridge.They may cause deterioration of the cartridge. Do not oil cartridge. Do not use pressurized air to clean or dry cartridge. Check the crankcase oil level before starting the engine and after each five (5) hours of continuous use.

STORAGE HANDLE (See ENGINE Figs. 22 and 23) You can fold your lawn mower handle for storage, FUEL SYSTEM 1. Loosen the two (2) handle knobs on sides of the upper handle and allow handle to fold down to the rear. IMPORTANT: 2. Remove the two (2) handle knobs and carriage bolts on sides of the lower handle and pivot entire handle assembly forward and allow it to rest on mower.
