Masterflex Waterproof Primer & Admix is a high solids, water resistant roof primer and admixture, designed to prepare concrete roofs prior

to roof sealer i

nstallation. Preparing concrete surfaces with Masterflex Waterproof Primer & Admix will extend the useful life of any

elastomeric roof sealer.

When used as a primer, it can be applied directly into concrete where it penetrates; seals hairline cracks, eliminates porosity and dramatically

increases roof sealer adhesion. For extremely deteriorated or weathered concrete surfaces use as an admixture by mixing with Quikrete Marble

Sand and Portland Cement to create a durable, waterproof micro-topping that will enhance roof sealer adhesion and overall performance.

SPEC DATA SHEET SECTION 8 – SURFACE PREPARATION All surfaces should be clean, sound and free of dirt, oil, grease, paint, curing compounds and form release agents. All loose materials and deteriorated concrete should be removed to ensure proper bonding. Pressure washing is highly recommended. Mixing: A. As a Micro-Topping: 1. Premix the Masterflex Waterproof Primer & Admix before use to guarantee a uniform mix of all components. 2. Dilute Waterproof Primer & Admix with water achieve a 1 to 1 mix ratio. 3.

SPEC DATA SHEET SECTION 10 – APPLICATION TOOLS As a Micro Topping: Apply with a floor scrub, and squeegee As a Roof Primer: Apply with paint brush, paint roller and conventional sprayer SECTION 11 – CAUTION HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. MAY CAUSE EYE, NOSE AND THROAT IRRITATION. AVOID CONTACT WITH SKIN AND EYES AND AVOID BREATHING OF VAPORS AND SPRAY MIST. USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. When applying spray, use respiratory protection (NIOSH/MSHA TC23C or equivalent), eye protection and protective clothing.
