5.7 Telestration (Drawing Lines on the Viewfinder)
Telestration permits the Onsight device operator or the Onsight Expert user to draw freehand lines on a still
image, recording, or live media stream using the stylus. Telestration markings appear simultaneously on both the
device and the Onsight Expert user’s display. The system is configured so that lines drawn by the Onsight device
operator and the Onsight Expert users appear in different colors.
Tap the Telestration icon to show, hide, or
remove existing telestration lines.
Lines drawn by the operator
appear in a different color
from lines drawn by the
Onsight Expert user.
Telestration is available on the Viewfinder on both streaming media and still images. It is disabled if the
Viewfinder is hidden (e.g. in the configuration or directory screens).
Once telestration lines have been added, a Telestration icon
appears in the Viewfinder.
