SWIVEL
HEX SCREW
Note: Model 704 is
shown in picture
We recommend removing the old swivel before ordering a new one in case there is
internal corrosion. Spray some penetrating oil internally to help remove any corrosion.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
ALLEN WRENCH OR HEX SCREWDRIVER
PLIERS

Locate the opening in the hose reel spool revealing the HEX SCREW.

Use an Allen Wrench or Hex Screwdriver to loosen the HEX SCREW.

Use PLIERS to unscrew the swivel from the elbow connector inside of the
drum. DO NOT HOLD THE SQUARE SWIVEL HEAD as it is designed to
turn. Hold the swivel shaft stationary and turn the reel with your right hand
to unthread the swivel.

Remove old SWIVEL and tightly install the replacement SWIVEL.
Make sure there is plumber's tape on the male threads of the swivel
before installing.

Tighten HEX SCREW.

Re-attach leader hose to the new swivel and check for leakage.
