Status Indicators
The following icons show your
Bluetooth
connection
status at a glance:

Using the Bluetooth Settings
Menu
The
Bluetooth Settings
menu allows you to set up many
of the characteristics of yourphone’s
Bluetooth
service,
including:
Setting yourphone’s visibility (or“discoverability”) for
other
Bluetooth
devices
Entering orchanging the name yourphone uses for
Bluetooth
communication
Displaying yourphone’s
Bluetooth
address
To access the Bluetooth Settings menu:
1. Press
> Tools > Bluetooth > <Settings>
.
2. Set your
Bluetooth
options.
Select
Visibility > Hidden
,
Visible for 3 min
, or
Always
Visible
to set your
Bluetooth
visibility.
Select
Device Name
to rename yourphone for
Bluetooth
.
Select
Device Info
to display yourphone’s
Bluetooth
profiles and address.
Bluetooth Profiles
All of the
Bluetooth
settings you configure are stored in
yourphone’s
Bluetooth
userprofile. You can use
different profiles forspecific
Bluetooth
functions.
HSP: Headset Profile –
This profile functions as a
wireless headset. When an incoming call is received,
the voice callerID can be heard through the headset
and the phone will vibrate. Please note that the
handset will only vibrate. By using the controls on the
Bluetooth
®
headset, you can easily answeran
incoming call.
