Transferring OnStar
Any unused time from the first year of OnStar service
included in the price of an OnStar-equipped vehicle is not
transferable. When you sell your current vehicle, you may
transfer any remaining customer-paid months of service or
Hands-Free Calling minutes to your new OnStar-equipped

OnStar Personal Identification Number (PIN)
You’ll need your PIN to access some of the OnStar services.
If, for example, you’re locked out of your vehicle or it has
been stolen, an Advisor will ask for your PIN in order to
provide assistance. This PIN can also be used for access to
m
yonstar.com and OnStar Virtual Advisor (see descriptions
of these services under “The Blue Button Section”). Your
PIN is the last four digits of the home phone number you
gave at the dealership when you took delivery of your
vehicle. Changing your OnStar PIN is easy. Call the OnStar
Center and provide the Advisor with your current number,
and he or she will assist you in setting up a new number.
