–Congurethecamerasettingsdirectlyfromtheprogramthatisusingthecamera.Fordetails,seethe
helpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
–ClickLenovoSettingsfromtheStartscreen.ThenclickCamera.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentocongurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
Usingaashmediacardorasmartcard
Yourcomputerhasamediacardreaderslot.Itsupportsthefollowingcards:
•MultiMediaCard(MMC)
•SecureDigitaleXtended-Capacity(SDXC)card
•SecureDigital(SD)card
•SecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(SDHC)card
Note:YourcomputerdoesnotsupporttheCPRMfeaturefortheSDcard.
Attention:Whiletransferringdatatoorfromaashmediacard,suchasanSDcard,donotputyour
computerintosleeporhibernationmodebeforethedatatransfercompletes;otherwise,yourdatacould
becomedamaged.
Dependingonthemodel,thecomputermightalsohaveanintegratedsmartcardreader.
Installingaashmediacardorasmartcard
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallingacard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisaction
reducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
Toinstallaashmediacardorasmartcard,dothefollowing:
1.Locatetheappropriatetypeofslotforyourcard.
2.Ensurethatthecardiscorrectlyoriented.
3.Insertthecardrmlyintotheslot.
Iftheplug-and-playfeatureisnotenabledfortheinstalledashmediacard,dothefollowingtoenable
thefeature:
1.OpenControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconrmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconrmation.
4.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
5.Followtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Removingaashmediacardorasmartcard
Attention:
•Beforeremovingacard,stopthecardrst.Otherwise,dataonthecardmightbedamagedorlost.
•Donotremoveacardwhilethecomputerisinsleepmodeorhibernationmode.Otherwise,thesystem
mightnotrespondwhenyoutrytoresumeoperation.
