•Message:ThissystemdoesnotsupportbatteriesthatarenotgenuineLenovo-madeorauthorized.The

systemwillcontinuetoboot,butmaynotchargeunauthorizedbatteries.PresstheESCkeytocontinue.

–IfyoucomputerispreinstalledwiththeWindows7operatingsystem,youcandisableanysystem

timers,suchastheLCDturn-offtimerortheblanktimerbydoingthefollowing:

1.StartPowerManager.

2.ClickthePowerplantab,andthenselectMaximumPerformancefromthepredeﬁnedpower

plans.

–IfyourcomputerispreinstalledwiththeWindows8orWindows8.1operatingsystem,doingthe

following:

1.Gothedesktopandclickthebattery-statusiconintheWindowsnotiﬁcationarea.

2.ClickMorepoweroptions➙Showadditionalplans➙Highperformance.
