theharddisktobelost.Besurethatthecustomerhasacurrentbackupofthedatabeforedoingthistask.
Attention:Thedrivestartupsequenceinthecomputeryouareservicingmighthavebeenchanged.Be
extremelycarefulduringwriteoperationssuchascopying,saving,orformatting.Ifyouselectanincorrect
drive,dataorprogramscanbeoverwritten.
IfthecomputerisshippedwithanmSATAsolid-statedriveandaharddiskdrive,themSATAsolid-state
driveisusedforthe“cache”functiononlytosupporttheIntelRapidStartTechnology.Usersarenot
recommendedtoreplacethemSATAsolid-statedrivebythemselves.Otherwise,the“cache”functionwill
notworkandtheIntelRapidStartTechnologycannotbeusedanymore.
Importantnoticeforreplacingasystemboard
Somecomponentsmountedonthesystemboardareverysensitive.Improperhandlingofthesystemboard
cancausedamagetothosecomponents,andmightcausethesystemmalfunction.

•Donotdropthesystemboardorapplyanyexcessiveforcetoit.
•Avoidroughhandlingofanykind.
