Thedrivemustbeformatted.Dothefollowing:

1.Attempttobackupthedataonthefailingharddisk

drive.

2.Usingtheoperatingsystemsprogram,formatthe

harddiskdrive.

Thedriveisdefective.

Replacetheharddiskdrive.
