2.FromtheSetupUtilityprogrammenu,selectDevices®FloppyDriveSetup®OnBoardFloppy

Controller.

3.SelectthedesiredsettingsandpressEnter.

4.ReturntotheSetupUtilityprogrammenuandselectExit®SaveChangesandExit.

Note:Ifyoudonotwanttosavethesettings,selectDiscardChangesorDiscardChangesandExit.

Selectingastartupdevice

IfyourcomputerdoesnotstartupfromadevicesuchastheCD-ROM,diskette,orharddiskdriveas

expected,useoneofthefollowingprocedurestoselectastartupdevice.

Selectingatemporarystartupdevice

Usethisproceduretostartupfromanystartdevice.

Note:NotallCDs,harddiskdrives,anddiskettesarebootable.

1.Turnoffyourcomputer.

2.PressandholdtheF12keythenturnonthecomputer.WhentheStartupDeviceMenuappears,release

theF12key.

Note:IfyouareusingaUSBkeyboardandtheStartupDeviceMenudoesnotdisplayusingthismethod,

repeatedlypressandreleasetheF12keyratherthanleavingitpressedwhenturningonthecomputer.

3.SelectthedesiredstartupdevicefromtheStartupDeviceMenuandpressEntertobegin.

Note:SelectingastartupdevicefromtheStartupDevicemenudoesnotpermanentlychangethestartup

sequence.

Selectingorchangingthestartupdevicesequence

Tovieworpermanentlychangetheconguredstartupdevicesequence,dothefollowing:

1.StarttheSetupUtilityprogram(see"StartingtheSetupUtilityprogram"onpage39).

2.SelectStartupandreadtheinformationdisplayedontherightsideofthescreen.

3.SelectthedevicesforthePrimaryBootSequence,theAutomaticBootSequence,andtheErrorBoot

Sequence.

4.FromtheSetupUtilitymenu,selectExit®SaveChangesandExit.

Ifyouhavechangedthesesettingsandwanttoreturntothedefaultsettings,selectLoadOptimalDefaults

ontheExitmenu.

ExitingfromtheSetupUtilityprogram

Afteryounishviewingorchangingsettings,pressEsctoreturntotheSetupUtilityprogrammenu(you

mighthavetopressEscseveraltimes).Ifyouwanttosavethenewsettings,selectSaveChangesand

Exit.Otherwise,yourchangeswillnotbesaved.
