Insertingamediacard
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallinganyofthefollowingcards,touchametaltableoragroundedmetal
object.Thisactionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Thestaticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
Toinsertamediacardintothe4-in-1mediacardreaderslot,dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethatthecardiscorrectlyoriented.
2.Insertthecardrmlyintothe4-in-1mediacardreaderslot.Pressthecardrmlyintotheslot.
Ifthemediacardisnotplugandplay,dothefollowing:
1.GotoControlPanel.ClickHardwareandSound➙DeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforan
administratorpasswordorconrmation,typethepasswordorprovideconrmation.
2.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
3.Followtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Removingamediacard
Attention:
•Beforeremovingthecard,stopthecardrst.Otherwise,dataonthecardmightbecorruptedorlost.
•Donotremovethecardwhilethecomputerisinsleepmodeorhibernationmode.Otherwise,thesystem
mightnotrespondwhenyoutrytoresumeoperation.
Toremoveamediacard,dothefollowing:
1.ClickthetriangulariconintheWindowsnoticationareatoshowhiddenicons.Then,right-clickthe
SafelyRemoveHardwareandEjectMediaicon.
2.SelectthecorrespondingitemtoejectthecardfromtheWindowsoperatingsystem.
3.Pressthecardtoejectitfromyourcomputer.
4.Removethecardfromyourcomputerandstoreitsafelyforfutureuse.
Note:IfyoudonotremovethecardfromyourcomputerafteryouejectthecardfromtheWindows
operatingsystem,thecardcannolongerbeaccessed.Toaccessthecard,youmustremoveitonce,
theninsertitagain.
