If the dispenser system cannot reach the intended pressure or vacuum
after a certain time, the instrument automatically switches to PAUSE mode.
• TheREADY LED is illuminated in red, the PAUSE LED is green. Depend-
ing on the error that has occurred, the display reads "PAUSED BOTTLE
VACUUM" or "PAUSED BOTTLE PRESSURE", accompanied by an signal
tone indicating that coverslipping cannot continue.
• ConfirmandswitchoffthesignaltonewithRESPOND.
• Checktheentiredispensersystemforleaks.
To do so, check whether:
- The O-ring is inserted in the cover of the dispenser group and intact.
- The connections of the air hose are tight.
- Hardened adhesive residue is on the dispenser needle.
• Ifthe dispenserisstillin theworkingposition, themessage"PRIME
POSITION" appears on the display. Put the dispenser into the rest posi-
tion and continue as outlined in Chapter 5.3.
