HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR CEILING FAN O Remove the hanger bell portion from the down rod /hanger ball assembly by loosening the set screw in the hanger bell until the ball falls freely down the downrod. Remove the pin from the downtrodden remove the hanger ball. Cretin the pin and hanger ball for installation n Step 6. Position the pin through the two holes in the down rod and align the hanger ball so the pin 's captured in the groove in the top of the hanger bell.Pull the hanger ball up tight against the pin. Securely tighten the set screw in the hanger ball. A loose setscrew could create fan wobble.
