TOOLS AND MATERIALS NEEDED
FIXTURE INSTALLATION
1. Remove the fixture and parts bag(s) from the carton. Put them onto a clean and soft
cloth to protect finish. Confirm all parts are included.
2. To adjust length of cord, loosen set screw (E) on the canopy (D) until the cord can slide.
Be careful not to remove the set screws. Adjust the length of cord by pulling cord
through the canopy (D) to set fixture at desired height. Then, tighten set screw (E); be
careful not to pierce wiring.
3. Slide safety clip (J) down cord to touch canopy. Do not damage the cord insulation layer.
4. Cut excess cord to minimum 6” beyond canopy (D).
a) Trim cloth 2” from the end.
b) Strip insulation 5/8” from end without cutting copper wire.
c) Twist each copper wire individually.
5. Attach mounting plate (B) onto outlet box with screws (C). Ensure the direction of
ground screw (K) as shown.
6. Adjust Nipple (M) so that it extends about 1-3/4” from mounting plate, secure it on
mounting plate with hex nut (L).
7. NOTICE: To avoid short circuit, make sure wires are not exposed. Fasten fixture green
or bare ground wire to the green or bare copper wire in outlet box with wire nut (A) or
fasten onto ground screw (K) on mounting plate (B). Fasten fixture white wire to the
white wire in outlet box with wire nut (A). Wrap the wire connector with electrical tape
so that the tape seals the end of wire nut (A), see diagram.
8. NOTICE: To avoid short circuit, make sure wires are not exposed. Fasten the fixture
black wire to the black wire in outlet box with wire nut (A). Wrap the wire connector
with electrical tape so that the tape seals the end of wire nut (A), see diagram.
9. Tuck wires carefully inside outlet box. Push the canopy tight to the mounting plate,
exposing the threads on the nipple (M) through the hole in the canopy (D). Then,
secure the canopy (D) to the mounting plate (B) by threading nut (F) onto nipple (M).
10. NOTICE: Do not exceed recommended wattage. Install lamp(s). Rated Max 40 W, Type B.
(Bulb(s) not included).
11. Install the small glass (G) and medium-sized glasses (H) onto glass holder, with screws
(I).
12. Restore power to circuit at breaker or fuse box.
