11. Voice Setup
IMPORTANT! An Amazon account is required to enable your product with Alexa voice activation.
Enable Voice Control
Download the KOHLER Konnect App onto your mobile device.
Follow the App instructions to complete WiFi connection to your mirror.
Verify the microphone (action) icon on the mirror is illuminated white.
Test Voice Control
Turn the task lights on by moving the manual light control all the way to the left.
Use your voice to dim the lights, saying ″Alexa – lights to 20 percent″ toward the microphone.
Verify that the task lights dim to 20 percent.
Use your voice to turn on music, saying ″Alexa – play music″ toward the microphone.
Verify that music is playing from the mirror.
Use your voice to lower the volume, saying ″Alexa – volume to 1″ toward the microphone.
Verify the volume level decreases to setting 1.
Test Mute
The mute feature is controlled by an icon located to the right of the sensor.
The mute icon illuminates white when the microphone is NOT muted.
To mute the microphone, touch the icon to turn it red.
Use your voice to test mute by saying ″Alexa – lights to 50 percent″ toward the microphone.
Verify the dim settings did not change.
To un-mute the microphone, touch the icon to change it back to white.
