2. Prepare the Insert
IMPORTANT! If you are installing a custom stone insert, proceed
to the ″Prepare a Stone Insert″ section.
The recommended insert thickness is 1-3/16″ (30 mm). Thinner
materials may be shimmed to this thickness.
Use the template to cut the insert material to size and to mark the
fastener locations.
Center the carrier over the insert.
Secure the carrier to the insert using appropriate fasteners for
your insert material.
