Prepare the Site (cont.)
Measure and cut the deck opening to size and secure to the top of the framed area. Ensure a
minimum 1/16″ (2 mm) gap will exist between the framing and the underside of the rim. Ensure
clearance by test-fitting the bath through the deck.
IMPORTANT! The cables that will connect the control amplifier to the bath transducers, chromatherapy
lights (if equipped), and the user interface are each 25’ (7.6 m) in length. Carefully plan out and position
the control amplifier so these routed cables will easily reach without placing tension on the cables.
Choose the preferred location for the control amplifier, then construct the stud framing or pocket.
Plumbing
Position and rough-in the drain and supply plumbing.
Cap the supplies and check for leaks.
IMPORTANT! For through-the-floor drain installations, cut a hole in the subfloor to accommodate the
drain connections.
Attach the drain to the bath according to the instructions packed with the drain. Do not connect the
trap at this time.
