PARTS AND FEATURES IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: 1. READ all instructions. 2. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. 3. To protect against electric shock, DO NOT immerse cord, plug, or toaster in water or other liquids. 4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. 5. UNPLUG from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

OPERATING YOUR TOASTER OPERATING YOUR TOASTER 1. Place toaster on a dry, level, stable surface. 2. Plug power cord into a standard 120-V, 60 Hz AC-only 2-prong electrical outlet. 3. The blue LED display will light up, the toaster alert will sound, and the toast shade number will display the last previous setting. NOTE: The screen will go dark if no control button is pressed within 2 minutes of the screen lighting up. The screen will relight as soon as a control button is pressed.

PIÈCES ET CARACTÉRISTIQUES 1. Placez le grille-pain sur une surface sèche, plane et stable. GRILLE-PAIN À LONGUES FENTES POUR 4 TRANCHES 2. Branchez le cordon d’alimentation dans une prise électrique standard à 2 broches de 120 V, 60 Hz CA uniquement. Fig. 1 3. L’afficheur à DEL bleu s’allumera, l’avertisseur du grille-pain retentira et le numéro de la teinte de pain grillé affichera le réglage précédent.

UTILISATION DU GRILLE-PAIN UTILISATION DU GRILLE-PAIN POUR RÉCHAUFFER LE PAIN Appuyez sur le bouton Warm (réchauffer). Le numéro 1 apparaît sur l’afficheur à DEL. Appuyer sur le bouton Toast/Cancel (griller/annuler). Après 3 secondes, un compte à rebours de 30 secondes apparaît sur l’afficheur. À la fin du compte à rebours, le pain réchauffé est relevé et l’avertisseur de prêt retentira 5 fois.
