CONVECTION COOK In convection cooking a fan in the oven back wall circulates heated air around the food to cook food quickly and evenly on all sides, also providing browning and crisping to food surfaces. For best convection performance, preheating is necessary. A preheat time period is built into the Conv function. Convection requires the use of the provided elevated racks so that heat circulates on all sides of the food. Use the low rack for baking, or for roasting or broiling meats.
COMBINATION FUNCTION (Microwave + Convection) (1) Press Micro + Conv, "350F" and MICRO and CONV indicator "v" will appear in the display window. (2) Press number pads 0 through 9 to choose cooking temperature. Temperature selections (°F): 0 = 425, 1=100, 2 = 200, 3 = 250, 4 = 275, 5 = 300, 6 = 325, 7 = 350 8 = 375, 9 = 400.
